Why our first season is built around South America
Argentina opens our first hosted season. South America is the heart of it, with Vietnam to follow later in 2027. Here's why I'm building around roads I'll be traveling myself.
Argentina will be Someplace's first hosted trip, opening our South America season from March 29 to April 12, 2027. Hosted by Dyana + an Argentine local. I've been thinking a lot about how I want this first season to feel, and I'm excited to begin here.
Then comes Peru in May, Brazil in June, and Colombia from June into July 2027. This is where the season gets big, not in group size, but in the range of places we'll get to know.
Vietnam remains a full north-to-south trip, now planned for later in 2027, with dates to be confirmed. Getting the timing right matters to me. The itinerary and waitlist are still there, and I'll share the dates when they're ready.
I'll be backpacking through the continent in spring and summer 2027, and these trips are being built around that same route. The roads I'll travel myself will shape the stops, the pacing, and the little decisions that make a trip feel good. I want to build from being there, not from a brochure.
For me, planning properly doesn't mean filling every hour. It means knowing how a day fits together and leaving enough room to enjoy it. A slow morning belongs in the plan just as much as a big sight does. I want us to come home remembering a place, not just remembering how many things we managed to tick off.
Every trip will be a small group of 12 or fewer, with me there hosting in person. Thoughtful days, the logistics handled, and no rush to move on before we've had a chance to take it in. That's the kind of first season I want to share with you.
If that sounds like your kind of travel, take a look at the trips and join a waitlist. You'll be first to hear when booking opens. I'd love to have you along.
